Up untill the party at your camp after saving halsin i thought the companions were well written and was enjoying spending time with them in the world.

Then the party happened and they all offer you sex, even Halsin the druid who'm i'd known for about 30 minutes.

It's very jarring because up until that point i was quite immersed in the world, having the party at camp was a really cool idea i thought and a sort of reward. But this companion dialogue was very cringe worthy and the sort of thing i'd expect from a bunch of 14 year old boys playing DnD together.

The characters went from being seemingly real people with their own motivations and reasons for joining the party, to pre programmed sex dolls.

It would be nice if the companions werent all throwing themselves at you but afaik if you turn them down then they stop so atleast theres that.

This may be a lowkey bug or Larian needs to be told to level out the progression of npcs attraction toward the character over the course of the game. Perhaps this setting is set high given that the early access period only allowed access to a portion of the game to players and the devs forgot to lower it now that the entire game is open for play.

There is a huge amount of good stuff that comes from larians approach of "EA = listen to the audience". But stuff like this comes from it too, where they saw far too many horny horny people on reddit over sexualise the game. Larian doing what they do figured it's what we wanted.

So far I think Mass Effect did a better job of the relationship progression, and tbh so did Baldur's Gate 2, which had more emotional depth in the relationships than what I've seen so far in act 1, but I'll see how it progresses. Other than that I'm enjoying the game.

You are in a high stress situation, where everyone in your camp is infected by a parasite that could kill them any day, and Haslin has you to thank for saving him and his grove. That sort of stuff makes people down to shag faster than they'd be if you met at the local mixer.

I'm nearly 40 hours in and that is not my experience in the slightest.
Don't be such a "light shoulder touching" creep and maybe all the companions won't assume you want sex?

Also, you're (hopefully) building a quirky band of heroes that are all working together to save each other from turning into monsters. And it's not like any of them have anything else useful to offer outside of their combat skills, which you're already taking advantage of. So is it really that out of place?
