Every other quest is bugged

Either the description doesn't match and you stumble upon it again by sheer accident some time later, or it outright doesn't work. The amount of bugged quests is insanely large. In the Elder Scrolls games it happens occasionally but people accept it as a consequence of the scope. In Baldur's Gate 3 almost half the quests have a serious chance of just bugging out in one way or another.

No spoilers, but so far I've gotten 11 (ELEVEN) quests that were either: not descriptive of what you were supposed to do; usually accompanied by a "show on map" that does nothing or they refuse to accept the player input as acceptable (already have the item, already interacted with the objective). The latter are just locking you out of completing the quest. The first may randomly continue if you by sheer accident stumble upon the continuation.

Strange, not had a single quest bug out on me in Act 1, and i've just got the underdark left to do. I've done the underdark a couple of times during EA and none of them as far as I can recall bugged out either.

That’s because act 1 is relatively polished whereas 2 and 3 are not

i have a huge bug where I can´t put in the gems on the shar alter and I don´t know what to do

Absolutely, I noticed this too. The quality takes a huge dip after act 1.

Ah, right. Well, Act 1 did get a whole lot of testing.

I suppose we will be getting lots of hotfixes over the coming weeks.

People who rush through quickest are going to be hit the hardest.

The only quest that seems bugged for me was the one in the Druid grove where I got robbed by the kids. Couldn’t get it to acknowledge I got my things back or question anyone about it. I ended up ignoring it. Beyond that, zero glitches.

Taking a guess where you are. Not all the 'gems' go in the same altar. There is a 2nd altar that takes the rest of them.

Yeah, the "find your belongings" quest bugs out, you never get your stuff even when talking to Mol. I spoke to halsin in druids grove but the "find halsin" quest doesn't seem to complete. I think a few others of mine might be bugged in odd ways.

Maybe I am just getting lucky. Not had any quests bug on me and coming to the end of Act 2 now. Though I did lose out on completing a couple quests cause I completed two events out of order.
