As for crashes... I have been playing BG3 since it was fully released(not EA) with my friend in co-op and we had no crashes at all, currently early on in Act 2.
I actually prefer having a locked minimap... but it would be really nice to have some indication of which direction I'm facing relative to the map. The easiest way to do this imo is to simply add a little "nose" to the pip on the minimap.
In the meantime, I'll look into letting it rotate.
One down... now fix the crashes! 35 hours probably 6 crashes.
GOTM , yes
Or perhaps game of the year ( so far)
1. Good news, you can lock the minmap in the options! Just look at the option menu to find the right one. At the same time you can check other options that maybe improve your enjoyment.
2. There is a new hotfix out. Test it with the new hotfix if it fixes your problem. Personally I had zero in-game crashes, but maybe I'm just lucky with my hardware. Just make sure your drivers are all up to date. Especially if you have an AMD CPU, go to the AMD website and download the right chipset driver. (maybe even check your motherboard bios, but only if you know what you are doing)
