Finally got it to work.

To those who can't start the game after update, go to:
Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Launcher

Right-click LariLauncher.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility

Check Run this program as administrator.

Do the same for bg3.exe and bg3_dx11.exe in Baldurs Gate 3\Bin folder.

After setting this the game run for me without crashes.

larian crash reporter showed up when i click play. what details you need for crash? it happens after game update. that's it.

Yeah, my game was fine until the update. Now game crashes to launcher every 20 - 30 minutes...

100% crash to desktop upon launch after update, and no crash reports are generating.

I've never modded, and the launcher accuses the files of mismatches.

10 of 10 ppl have this problem so we should wait for fix///

Clicks PLAY then 10 seconds later, Steam presents me a new, green PLAY button. Repeat. I updated as others but this would have been my first time launching the game since downloading.
