Dame Aylin SUCKS - Thorm Fight Help

I've literally had a familiar CROW help more than this fcking character. She is a LITERAL ANGEL with the brain size of an amoeba. She never attacks the ACTUAL problems in the fight, but instead is going for the one-♥♥♥♥ skeletons--THAT GET RESPAWNED instead of taking damage out on ANY of the other enemies that are LITERALLY KOing my party. I just watched her moonbeam a f*cking 18hp skeleton. With THROM RIGHT NEXT TO HER. Like what in the ♥♥♥ is going on here! She wont even take a hit for us with her 90hp, as Throm and the other heavy dps target us first. She was literally more useful as a battery for Throm I bet because holy crap she's useless in a fight. I've been going at this battle for over an hour now--gotten to phase 2 twice, and literally NONE of it is thanks to this braindead angel.

I ended up sneaking up to the roof, long story, and bypassed all the other fights in the castle so I'm right up on the roof with Astarion, Gale, Lez, and my ranger dualweilder.

Tbh I was having the same problem and then she went down half way through the first part of Thorm’s fight. I made it through the second part of his fight with her completely knocked out. She really does have awful AI

It's supposed to simulate that she was soul bound /trapped and needed to recover.

But yeah for an aasimar, child of a literal godess she does get's her ass captured a lot.

Make a team of three throw-barbs with berserker. Get tavern brawler for all of them. For your fourth party member bring 1 cleric with upgraded bless [there's an item that provides an extra 1d4 to bless effects, so your bless provides 2d4 to attack rolls and saves].

Easy win.

ah yes just redo the entire game X_X top strats already beat her. she was more useful as a meatshield for thorm to kill over and over while i burst down the skellys and then him

I literally stopped the mind flayer from dying and she STILL got beat down over and over.

I also walked in with like no spell slots left. And I don't have time to heal her. She just gets beat down over and over.

I actually found an easy way to cheese this fight.

It's possible to get onto the roof before rescuing Aylin by posing as a True Soul.

If you have a sneaky type character or enough invisibility abilities/potions you can get onto the roof and kill all the enemies there except for Thorm, just don't get seen by him.

You can also kill his undead dog companion in his room beforehand, so that when you finally do get to the roof scene, it's only him vs your party and Aylin, or maybe one or two other enemies.

Makes the fight WAY easier, and if you are a persuasion type character who has thoroughly explored Thorm's room prior to the fight you can convince him to skip to the next scene without fighting him at all.

Total skill issue. Kill the ads she wins the fight for you. Just like most games. Instead of fighting against the game and whining later go with it. You'll be better off.

She's just a weakling, don't count on her help to make things easier, the only thing is she can't die so she's basically a distraction but any summon will do. You must be severely underlevelled, how many things did you skip?
