Nearly no unique wizard staffs

I had trouble with coming across and finding any unique staff for my wizard, are there really not many of them or i just didn't look carefully?

Yes, I mainly use bg3.wiki too but it served the purpose :-)

Except it really didn't. FExtralife lists two staves that aren't even in the game at this time, with most of the other entries being half-arsed or AI-generated. About standard for a known content farm that uses bot tactics to game the search algorithms and copyright trolling to shut down competition (see Mo1stcritikal's coverage on that company, it's a bit atrocious what they do for clicks).

The BG3 Wiki has better information that's more up to date and better notes taken for specific items.

well at release BG3 Wiki was lacking but it's the better wiki now for sure yes. But most people done know it exists for some reason it's hard to find.
