"cats grace"-buff on skillcheck/dice roll out of the blue?

I dont remember exactly, but i think i was doing a lockpick action with shadowheart, and there was suddenly a "cats grace" buff on her/available.

I dont have that skill on anyone, and i have not seen it since?

Ive no equipment with cats grace, and it hasnt come up since that one random interaction. i wonder if its something "shadowheart" is supposed to have, or if it was some random happenstance bug, and if it has happened to anyone else?

There is a cleric spell called "Enhance Ability" that buffs 1 of your Abilities (Strength, Dex, etc.) the one that affects Dexterity is called "Cats Grace" and since Lockpicking is a Dex Check, it showed that buff as a bonus.

Ive not seen that spell, but its atleast the closest lead on what can have happened!

Just had this same issue and was curious about what was going on, but then realized it was indeed from the spell RhodosGuard mentioned above.

In your case however, since you mention "I've not seen that spell", What likely happened is that you picked up a random SCROLL of it (we all pick up plenty of scrolls without necessarily reading each one's specific name) - then on the next lock it came up as a bonus option, the scroll got used, and that's why you never saw it again.

It would be nice if they added a tooltip in the conversation dice-roll interface which noted if a specific bonus option was from a scroll (in case you might prefer to save them for a wizard or possible future wiz subclass to learn instead)
