it's a good game, but...
Well yeah, I've played it a lot, and also developed three very popular downloadable vault projects, especially my very very very own re-imagining of Dark Souls 3 and a Town Simulator.
Points of view. To me they are practically the same game.
Although I know many still play the first one because it's so much easier to make your own adventures.
For me it's always been laziness, but it makes no difference: this BG3 won't replace NwN or Nwn2.

If you're a romantic at heart especially (or just like the ruleset) and like high fantasy it is definitely worth seeking out.
I wouldn't do either game service by comparing them though. I *wish* we lived in a time where that game was a bestseller. But we don't.
I will never let it go. It is on my Bugout Game drive (More like if I am stuck with X games this is what I bring.) LOL
