But once in a while i do find a great ring or amulet that i want.
Like ring of invisability or an amulet that gives me both regular and mass healing.
Maybe healing potions? They are quite cheap and it's always more resource effective to throw potions at your party then to waste your healing spells on that.
And yes, the vast majority of magic item are absolute rubbish that is only worth feeding to Gale.
I even stop picking up none magical gear.
Thropies, gaurds, room decorations.
Vanity projects are a good gold waster.
Yes, agreed, however in DnD you don't have 8 000 golds by level 4 like I do in my game. Also NPCs and enemies are not swimming in magic arrows, grenades, alchemical concoction and other extremely rare (in the world of DnD) items. Items and economy are all very silly in BG3.
Since crafting in this game won't cut it.
Winning battles will get you everything else required.
I'd save money for revival scrolls, too, but apparently this game gives them away like candy.
You can also just learn the revivify ally spell with Shadowheart or any cleric really and you don't even need scrolls.
Right off the bat by the Med Armor Gauntlets Zavlor has in the grove. Nice healing buff.
I believe Volo or what ever the bards name is has a nice ring that buffs you on heals.
The two Zhent merchants have great stuff also.
There is a lot of great stuff to buy. Not always from merchants.
