If you use the lvl 20 Multiclass mod...here's a little hint on what to get

For a 12 /8 multiclass i find the lvl 8 Rogue (Thief) makes the best universal multiclass. an extra bonus action. Dash, Hide and Disengage become bonus actions, proficiency in loads of useful skills. And if you are already a Rogue, a 12 Rogue / 8 Ranger (Hunter) makes a sublime killer. If you don't use an EXP mod to allow you to hit 20, you only need 3 levels in rogue to benefit from the extra bonus actions. (Also it's lore friendly for our Trickery Cleric Shadowheart to subclass Rogue, and our resident Vampire to be an Urban Hunter subclass)

Overall the extra bonus action wins out on the other subclasses. And rogue benefits everyone with perception, all the face skills and lore, and stealth skills. Letting you fill what ever hole in skills you get in any class

Pay attention to the mod authors posts, it has some bugs you have to work around
