Am I suppose to be dying this much?
Every single encounter I somehow end up having to force my back line wizard to constantly go both and forth to revive other teammates without a opening to attack unless by some miracle of the roll one party member avoids a attack. Is this suppose to be happening on? Or am I doin something wrong?

What is your intention with that rhetorical question of yours?

Unless you jumped ahead too much in the story, you may need to rethink your approach, tried sneaking and getting into position? Hiding behind rocks from archers? Lure them into a bad position while keeping your people safe, running out into an open field isn't always a good idea.

What's your party composition and what difficulty setting are you playing on?

Besides that, it's just planning your attacks better.

If you were forced to fight the same fight, twenty times in a row, you'd find it easy.

It's just practice. And thinking outside of the box.

These fights aren't always about straight-forward, bulldozer tactics, like in most games.

But that’s the interesting part is that when I do face things head on I win, like the first goblin stronghold was nothing to me up until I met the red demon dude inside and he pushed my healer down into the spider den and I spent a hour maneuvering around the hole above so I could get angles on the spiders and also reviving the ones that get downed around the hole.

apparently, they didn't finish the game before, so they don't know what is "normal gameplay here"

Which fight is giving you problems then?

Every encounter is like a puzzle to be overcome, there is hardly any filler content combat wise.

It does get easier around level 5-6 when you start getting good loot for everyone and when you finally have more slots for special attacks and spells.

use a stealth character to scout into rooms before you enter them (typically rogue, monk, bard or ranger), so you know what you are up against and get the first strike

Full team level 4, barbarian, cleric, wizard, fighter. On the normal difficulty. I’ve played games like this before and never had trouble but I’m assuming other characters have different levels depending on regions? I’ve met the big green looking auntie witch in the forest and she one shots my characters so idk

No one was talking to you, get off the forum if you don’t want spoilers, I’ll report if you keep on

Oh god, yeah her, very rough fight, if you can squeeze off a 'Silence' or something it may help, I just got lucky when I finally took her down.
