How long is the game ?

Hello I am 24 hours in, just finished act 1, I saw people saying its 30 hours long how is that even possible ?
is act 2 and 3 the same ish duration or a bit shorter ?

The developers estimated a playtime of 70-120 hours for regular play and a few hundred hours if you try to do everything and explore every corner of every map.

Act 1 is about 30 hours long.

I have played 30 hours on my solo playthrough and I still have all of the goblin camp and the Grymforge area left to do.

yeah im playing with 2 friends that already did act 1 so they point me in the right direction so less down time I assume we did alot of sidequests too and its definetely GOTY so far... medium difficulty.

There are several underground areas in Act 1 which the player may not even know exists. Exploring a lot and not rushing, helps to reveal them.

First act out of 3 is easily 40 hours, 50~60 if you get all the content. Checking steam achievements no one has even completed act 2, nor is there a map online of just how big it is so who knows rly.

They said at a casual play its 100 hours but full play through could be around 200 hours.

Your friends are rushing you thru Act 1.

It's really going to depend on the player. I'm at 25 hours and just entered the underdark. But I'm also leaving a couple things for the next play through.

Played over 35 hours for Act 1 almost to completion, realised later I missed couple secret things.

I read someone on forums say they completed the whole game, Act 1-2-3 in 30 hours, which now I realised was a load of rubbish.

I'm playing the good route and helped the Grove, but seems you can also play the evil route and side with Goblins?

The total game, if you take your time and try to do as much content there is, will take you 150+ hrs to do. Maybe over 200 hrs for some.

Esp, when Larian themselves said it would take about 80 hrs for a play run, doing primarily the main story quests.
