where to find essence ingredients in act 3?

I can't find essence ingredients anywhere, what am I supposed to do? I tried looking everywhere yet I can't find a single ingredient.

Same here. Need it for a quest but none of the shops seem to have it.

found them at the diabolist, you can use the Iris (eyes, you need 3 of those) to make an essence, if the diabolist doesn't have any take some long rests and her inventory should reset, and if she only has 2 you can go to the hag's basement under the tavern, there you'll find another iris.

You can still find ingredients for essences in the sewers at the fat god (in some crates). And near there is a mute merchant who sells mushrooms.

You can buy ingredients for essences in the Potion Shop north west of the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing waypoint. The merchant mentioned is near the Undercity Ruins waypoint.

I just went through this. Checked Alchemy if I could make it.. saw 2 of 3 ingredients in a couple of cases. So I checked all the inventory spots including camp. Man.. I had a bunch of alchemy ingredient bags. I spent some time moving stuff from small qty bags to a main bag.. dropped the main bag into each character I use (same 4 most of the game) to collect loose ingredients. In the end, with inventory tidied up and the very heavy main bag in my inventory... I could make the hag grenade.. probably from hitting "make all" button in Alchemy from time to time previously. YMMV.. but i tend to Hoover-up everything. I am a very tedious explorer the first run.

Funny thing is, I have already visited the Hag and had her beat down to 47 points with all the mushrooms gone.. and something stuck in my head about "not killing the Hag of Varna will die too".. so I ran away and figured out what I had to do to save Varna. Now I go back and she is full health.. mushrooms still gone so I should be able to kill her easier after using the Hag grenade
