Drow gave me "Gift of the Absolute" but I can't find it anywhere?

I did the quest and sided with the Drow where I'm supposed to get an item to summon somebody to help me in Act2. I can't find this item anywhere at all in anybody's inventory even though it was one of those "Accept" rewards where you just hit a button after finishing a quest.

Does anybody know if this is a bug or is this item someplace else?

Hey, I actually have the same problem : the gift appear 1 second in my inventory then disappear

She gives you her instrument. When I took the mountain pass there was a goblin patrol in the shadowlands that I followed a bit, then played the instrument.
It´s called the spiders lyre.

The item you get (the tadpole) is consumed automatically, that's why it disappears from your inventory and will give you an extra point to spend on ur illithid powers (press B to see the window to spend the point you get).

yeah same i just did it today and didnt get the gift. i got the lyre tho so theres that atleast

You get the lyre and a tadpole.

If you didn't get the lyre and the tadpole, you must not have performed satisfactorily in bed.

In various sources on the net it says you get as many tadpoles as bosses you spared, essentially meaning you don't suffer not having fought the True Souls, but I only got one tadpole despite not fighting any of them. Is this intended? Do you only get 1 tadpole as the Gift of the Absolute?
