I had a suspension that may be the case, but when I tested the theory by not using reckless attack in the same turn. It didn't change how seemingly random sentinel activated.
With that said, Sentinel is a great feat but it's situational. In my opinion there are much better feats to be picked than this.
>I rage. Bonus action gone.
>I get close without dash.
>I attack with a normal attack. Main action gone.
>I attack again with Extra Attack activated.
>End my turn.
>Ally near me gets meleed and I sit there like an idiot not reacting to what just happened.
Next turn:
>I'm still close. I attack with a normal attack.
> I hit em' again.
> I use frenzied strike to hit em' again.
> End my turn
> Ally near me gets meleed and I sit there like an idiot not reacting to what just happened again.
Why is that? Where is it going wrong?
