Avenge the Drowned

Hello !
I'm currently in act 3 and I'm doing this side quest, avenge the drowned, unfortunaly I am currently stuck at this quest.

I am at the basement where the submarine should be, but it's not there and the only thing that the quest is telling me is :

"Flymm's Cargo has a hidden basement - but we found it contained neither beast nor master. We should keep exploring the warehouse."

But I am in this basement, I am at the place where the quest marker is but I just cannot find what trigger the next part of the quest =/
I am afraid that the quest is bugged but maybe I am wrong ?

Destroying the factory is definitely the cause. You're supposed to go in and rescue some people, otherwise Gortash cuts his losses and fails everything that's associated with him. Might be other triggers for pissing him off, too, but a lot of his stuff is linked to the sub.

This is stupid because I never blew up the factory, it did blew litteraly alone after I killed Gortash very early (at my first meeting with him).

I assumed he would mention the consequences of betraying him. The hostages are part of his plan to get you to follow along, especially if you're playing good and have Wyll.

I went to the factory, and after info from there to the underwater prison, which seems to be the intended order.

- If you kill the dwarven pilot, you might be unable to finish this.
- If you kill Gortash at the coronation the prison most likely gets destroyed or becomes unavailable (see the log of the dwarf).

Yeah, you need to sneak into the factory, talk to a guy who tells you to save their families from the prison, so then you back track to the prison, and then go into the factory again to finish it off. Doing any of it out of order results in the prison being blown up, and in fact, it's in the process of blowing up as soon as you get there, which is part of how this whole thing plays out.

Same here. No sub, no npc. I have killed Gortash before coming here. So what should I do ? I am not going back to earlier saves because that's ridiculous

I don't have a NPC beastmaster or whatever either, but:
- I haven't killed Gortash yet
- I haven't blown the Foundry up yet
- I just found the warehouse 'early' while exploring the sewers (and I cannot go back there from said warehouse :( ).

I have the same issue but there's a note from the NPC on the floor next to where the submarine should be saying that he left with the submarine, but the quest is still stuck in this place... seems like it should end at that point or trigger more dialogue options to the quest giver

broooooooooooo i already nuked the underwater prison AND the foundry and i went to the water temple AFTER all of that cuz idk i didnt think i oughta GO into the water tyemple BUT NOW the singing ladies just ask for a donation or gtfo like LET ME HELP YOU
