I down wanna down my friend, isn't there any other workaround?
Why won't Larian fix this?
UPDATE: Yes they surely disapprove when you attack them.
It happened for my main character, but it happens so early in the game that you can build the approval up, assuming it always happens in the bog. Only way I can think of to prevent that is to make them jump off of high places or hurt them in environmental hazards/explosions.
Worked first try! Thanks for the super-fast fix!
Depends, is the Character an Origin Character or Hireling? Hirelings have no emotions at all and cannot affect the story in any way with their feelings on the subjects at hand. This is a really nice trait to have sometimes since evil deeds won't hurt feelings anymore.
Now Origin Characters? No, not on the first or second shove out of combat at least. In combat, it's a great movement tactic for a little extra distance. They won't mind and won't be upset. To be completely sure, you can right-click the Origin Characters Portrait on the left side of the screen, click "Examine", go to the third tab at the top called "Detailed View", and scroll down to the bottom of that page. The bottom has a section called "Approval", which shows the character's feelings toward other characters. Watch that stat before and after you shove them and see if it changes. :)
If you're sure you should be able to travel, then seeking official support and reporting a bug would be a better way to go.
I submitted a bug report to Larian yesterday. I'll let you all know when I hear back from them. In the meantime, i was able to get the stuck companion out of my party by killing him and then telling the skeleton dude at the camp to "watch over" him. This removed him from the party so I could add someone else who is able to fast travel. Unfortunately, it means the person who can fast travel is now stuck in the camp indefinitely.
PS: None of the guards in moonrise wanted to throw me in jail regardless of crime so I needed to walk balk to last light and even then perform like 5 crimes and attempt to bribe to go to jail....
