Here's mine:

Halfling (Lucky)

Great Old One Warlock-1
Storm Sorcerer-3
Champion Fighter-3
Tempest Cleric-5

Feats - Spellsniper

Metamagic - Twinned Spell, Quickened Spell

Spells -

• Cantrips - Ray of Frost, Shocking Grasp, Blade Ward

• Armor of Agathys from Warlock, upcast with a 4th level spell slot (20 pt.)

• Chromatic Orb, Ice Knife, Thunderwave, Create Water

• Shatter

• Call Lightning, Glyph of Warding, Sleet Storm

Class Features -

• Increased crit threat from Champ and Spellsniper (crit chance 15%, 18, 19 or 20)

• Frighten on crit (GOOLock)

• Prep AoA before battle, cast Blade Ward (Quicken it if you want to do something else too), if you get hit by melee attack, attacker can take 2d8 (4d8 if Wet) lightning damage + 20(40) cold damage, or 4d8(8d8) + 40 if crits and Wet.

• Haste/Speed for double actions, plus Action Surge every short rest, ensure you will get off a massive nova, use extra action to cast Create Water first.

• Set up Glyphs as traps, or cast Call Lightning to repeatedly deal dbl AoE lightning dmg.

• Twin Chromatic Orbs or Ray of Frost for 1 Sorc Pt. Cantrips scale with character level, so Ray of Frost becomes 6d8 (3d8 x2), or 12d8 if target is Wet (dbl dmg, 6d8 x2), or 24d8 (12d8 x2) if you crit on a Wet target.

• You can Channel Divinity to roll maximum damage on any lightning spell. As a 5th lvl Cleric, you only have 1 charge, but you get it back on short rest, so use it to 1-shot bosses (get them Wet first, use this on a crit)

• Grab lightning and cold gear (Watersparkers, Raindancer, lightning resistance ring, etc.)

You're missing out on a lot of feats/ASI with so much multiclassing.

Your caster level sucks for all caster classes.

You're missing out on the most powerful spells.

Might be ok for Explorer mode.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Sounds fun. I like it. Great synergy you got going.

None of that garbage is relevant. Look at the damage output.

But if you wanted, you could drop the Warlock level to increase Sorc to 4th and pick up Elemental Adept. The reason I like the 1 level dip into Warlock is for Armor of Agathys - an extra layer of defense that pairs well with Tempest's retribution ability, especially combined with the Wet condition.

Level 8 thief rogue with acrobatics feat with 21 str 20 dex and 18 int, has a backpack full of potions and scrolls and solo's almost every encounter by breaking the enemy ai. Who searches for about 2 seconds and then goes, "damn guess he left hope he doesn't come back and kill another one of us!"

Completely off topic, this is about lightning/thunder/cold builds, i.e. Storm Gods.

In act 1 there is a set of gloves and boots that are electric focused.

Unless you also play halfing to negate nat 1's you got small improvement to do =)

Yeah, Watersparkers are the boots - you also want the ring that makes you immune to the Elctrocution status.

Excellent idea, it also improves your crit chances! Adding it to OP.

Tempest Cleric 2/Blue Draconic Sorcerer 10

Quickened Create Water
Upcast Witch Bolt: 6d12 damage, x2 because they're in water, turn into a crit with your illithid power (Luck of the Far Realms).
Use your Channel Divinity for guaranteed max damage.

Congratulations, you just used 9 sorcery points, a 3rd and 6th level spells, and your one Channel Divinity to deal 293 damage in one turn. If you actually hit, that is.

This. I don't understand why OP made this 4 classes multiclass when you just can go simple as this.

Well, call it garbage if you like, you do you.

Its a nice thematic idea, just not as powerful as you could get going straight in a class.

You're only getting 3 sorcery points, so its only 3 times you can do that twin spell, and then you're giving up the option to convert them into spells for use. I suppose you could burn spell slots to get more sorcery point through.
