Your caster level sucks for all caster classes.
You're missing out on the most powerful spells.
Might be ok for Explorer mode.
None of that garbage is relevant. Look at the damage output.
But if you wanted, you could drop the Warlock level to increase Sorc to 4th and pick up Elemental Adept. The reason I like the 1 level dip into Warlock is for Armor of Agathys - an extra layer of defense that pairs well with Tempest's retribution ability, especially combined with the Wet condition.
Completely off topic, this is about lightning/thunder/cold builds, i.e. Storm Gods.
Unless you also play halfing to negate nat 1's you got small improvement to do =)
Yeah, Watersparkers are the boots - you also want the ring that makes you immune to the Elctrocution status.
Excellent idea, it also improves your crit chances! Adding it to OP.
Quickened Create Water
Upcast Witch Bolt: 6d12 damage, x2 because they're in water, turn into a crit with your illithid power (Luck of the Far Realms).
Use your Channel Divinity for guaranteed max damage.
Congratulations, you just used 9 sorcery points, a 3rd and 6th level spells, and your one Channel Divinity to deal 293 damage in one turn. If you actually hit, that is.
Well, call it garbage if you like, you do you.
Its a nice thematic idea, just not as powerful as you could get going straight in a class.
You're only getting 3 sorcery points, so its only 3 times you can do that twin spell, and then you're giving up the option to convert them into spells for use. I suppose you could burn spell slots to get more sorcery point through.
