i feel like there are ALOT of missing weaknesses from enemies,
like radiant damage, you would assume that undead and other "evil" creatures would have a weakness towards it? nope, 99% of the time they dont. same goes for all other elements or sources of damage.

but they sure have A LOT of resistences. for example the poltergiests that i am currently facing are resistant to slash, pierce, blunt, fire, acid, thunder, lightning, cold and immune to poison and necrotic. so what are thier weakness you might wonder, sureley with that many resistences they sould be weak to something? and since they are ghost, radiant damage would make sense, right? WRONG! they have no weakness...

this annoys me greatly,

In DnD most undead have specific weaknesses. Skeleton undead have bludgeoning weakness and zombie no weaknesses. In Act2 I seen ghosts pulverized with spirit guardian from Shadowheart.

This is just something in DnD 5e, very few creatures actually have weaknesses or vulnerabilities. it just boils down to focus on damage types that enemies aren't resistant to

still doesnt feel right too me. cant just slap vast amount of resistencess and immunities to things without giving us something to exploit.

isnt radiant damage suppose to be an anti "evil" damage type? doesnt sit right with me that normal dude takes just as much damage from radiant as a zombie would.

and for the record, this isnt a complaint about balance but rather what makes sense and feels right. it would just make sense that undeads take more damage from radiant, fishlike creatures toi be vurnable to lightning, unarmored humans be vurnable to slashing and armored humans be vurnable to bludgeon.

why even have weaknesses parto the game if its not gonna be apllied in a constitant and logical way?
