Having FPS/GPU issues with BG3

Context:
- I am Running a ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 4060, 32GBs of Ram, and a 550W PSU
- I've Deleted my EA games and uninstalled and reinstalled the game mulitple times
- Trying Running it DX11 and Vulan with no success.
- GPU goes to 100% usuage when running the game (in the 3D performance section of the task manager)

Question:
please help, my FPS goes to 5 half way when loading the game. No matter how many times i mess with the graphics settings in game and on the Nvidia control panel nothing changes. Sent a message to Larian support, but i know they are overwhelmed. Is there any fix for this if so, how do I fix this? anything will help.

Try switching from borderless to fullscreen. The game is set to borderless by default and I had a ton of FPS issues in borderless.

Tried doing that as well, but unfortunatly it still stays at 5fps. Even tried turning the graphics all the way to the lowest setting :(

Sounds like we're having the same issues, with the exception I'm running Nvidia 3060 ti. Nothing helps: not any adjustments, lowering of graphics, verifying files, reinstalling anyway, exiting Nvidia overlay, launching from folder, turning off all programs (including anti virus,) neither of the hot fixes, not even the new driver updates. Absolutely nothing at all prevents constant crashing, shut downs, or black screens with the sound running. It's like a real life dice roll which issue will strike first. Sad. Loved the game so far. I may be forced to give up trying to play if one of the hot fixes doesn't work soon. I can't afford another new PC.

Just Updated them today, and my FPS has gone from 5 to 7. still too low to have an enjoyable experience unfortunately . Thanks for the heads up though

For me V-sync is broken with this game (even after hotfix 2 which mentioned something about that). I had to force it through NV control panel. Otherwise regardless of in game settings it just ran un capped. And if I used the in game FPS cap I got screen tearing that annoyed me.

My game was working great until I just updated windows and my driver today. Now I'm getting 7-10 fps too. Seems the update broke the game.

I’m using my driver from 2-3 versions ago even though it tells me to update

I did notice however an area with a possible memory leak,what location are you saved at? Does it happen if you try a new save or older?

Yes, the updates have been breaking the game for me all along the way. Only EA worked for me with no crashes whatsoever. Khamal, which driver are you using? Just curious.

This is why I never buy ryzen . I m sure it will be patched in a month or 2.
