How to check the character's gender?

Does anyone know if there is a specific foolproof way of checking your character's gender? I just want to know if I selected the correct option. Anyone who specifically says he/she/they to you, depending on what you choose?

maybe i'm oldschool on this one but if it has a penis and a masculine voice it's probably a male. so far has served me well. maybe i'll get a suprise one day lol

Yeah, I'm just asking because I'm curious if everyone saying 'they' calling me 'soldier' 'fellow' and such is because I accidently chose the non-binary option, or because they simply did that to lower the ressources needed for dialogue.

It's a question I'd like to know as well. Do people call you he/she, or do they all call you "they"? I mean, if non-binary people want to be called "they", and they're getting it the way they want, I want to be called a he, not a they. Do I get it the way I want?

Well, I most assuredly chose the masculine option and at least once got a very clear "this man" from one npc. Can't say I've really been paying attention otherwise, tho, but maybe it helps answer your question.

In the beginning you get to choose your identity, and then your body type separately.

Mechanically, in the game, it just comes down to what your character has between their legs.

A lot of NPC dialog uses neutral pronouns because it costs less, it has nothing to do with gender politics. Voice acting can cost a lot lol.
All that other stuff is just everyone else is just looking for drama.

No, you didn't. OP wants to see if he accidentally picked "non-binary", and wants to know if there is a specific NPC who will refer to his character as "he" or "she" so he can check.

You simply told him that your gender is what's between your character's legs, which isn't even true in this game.
