What lyrics do you hear in the main BG3 theme?
For me it's "FOUR-STAR HOTELS BEFORE US..."

You will never not hear this whenever you start up the game.

To be honest: After while, the "song" became:
{birds tweeting} {tap tap on button A} {ambient game noises after a second} {last saved game is ready to play}

There's no opportunity for any song with the way I was playing. The scene of BG has no music. A goes to the menu. A again continues last save.
I think it says: " Crispy™ is a bald capybaraaa "

AFAIk this is the most accurate interpretation of the lyrics to Main Theme part I which is not the "Down by the River" song which comes after Mian Theme Part II on the OST.
Wait, now I listened again and I think it says "WE WANT BIG JIGGLY BOOBAAAAA"

Well... I guess... this reminds me of efforts to transliterate glossolalia, which also, BTW, is mostly made out of gibberish.

The Main Theme has no lyrics. It has human vocalizations, but they are not words in any human language.
Nothing beats the house of hope fight song

But down by the river is nice

"who's the bald capybara???"
I always hear "Sweet Saviour Satan" when I play it backwards. (anyone else old enough to get this one?)

Genius describes the Main Theme Part I as having Missing Lyrics.

Reason being: yes, they are singing words. However, they are not singing actual words in any actual human language.

There's another song that does this - the Gladiator Theme song "Now We Are Free" for the movie with Russell Crowe.

What words is Lisa Girard singing in this song? Answer: no intelligible words in any real human language. It's all made up. (It's NOT Latin.)
Faradenza by Little Big. It was funny to watch people try to translate it. It sounds like a Romance language, but it's no language... just borrowing groups of phonemes from other languages. (Randomly forming words from different languages unintentionally.)

There was a version of Ievan Polkka by Loituma where people were trying to translate the vocal jazz portion. Hilarious what people came up with.

*Dee Snyder disapproves.
I hear “who’s that bald capibara”
This is my fave BG3 discussion so far.
For me it's always been "Who's that bald capybaraaaaa" 🤣🤣
Messaggio originale di krillokrokodil:
I am guessing it’s the same as the English lyrics but Bulgarian since the composer is Bulgarian. In Bulgarian this would be Долу, долу, долу край реката. When I plugged that into the Google speech translator it sounds the same (but you will have to imagine it changed by deep male voices 😊)
Interesting, I think I recognize those words in the choir part of the main theme, now that I have read them. Or is that just my mind playing games with me?
I'm brazilian, so I hear it in portuguese. For me, it says

"O Sabor da Pipoca"

which means: "The flavor of popcorn"

me and my brother, at this point, just say to each other when we want to play: "Hey, let's play some popcorn"
