What lyrics do you hear in the main BG3 theme?
For me it's "FOUR-STAR HOTELS BEFORE US..."

You will never not hear this whenever you start up the game.

OK. So, the Main Theme (OST) Part I ... some people think it's Finnish, or Bulgarian, or ... but no, it's no European or human language. It's entirely imaginary.

Daniel Wójcik: I love that the choir (especially in battle music) sounds like it’s singing in real (Scandinavian or Slavic) language, instead of repeating boring Latin words. Have you created a kind of language mimic or pattern to make the choir sound more lively?

Borislav Slavov: I am happy to hear you like it. The choir is unique as it was formed and mixed specifically for Baldur’s Gate 3. The warm reception makes me feel confident and you are going to hear a lot more of it in the final game. In many different moods and situations – from a complete darkness to epic battle hymns. The choir sings on an imaginery language, invetnted and performed in a specific way to support the feel of the new thread, the drama and story in BG3.

The lyrics -- if real words and what not -- are all posted on Spotify.

Genius describes the Main Theme Part I as having Missing Lyrics.

Reason being: yes, they are singing words. However, they are not singing actual words in any actual human language.

There's another song that does this - the Gladiator Theme song "Now We Are Free" for the movie with Russell Crowe.

What words is Lisa Girard singing in this song? Answer: no intelligible words in any real human language. It's all made up. (It's NOT Latin.)

After this thread, I will likely now hear "Who's that bald capybara?"

Thanks for that. :steamfacepalm:

(The answer is Minsc, of course.)

Except, of course, Boo looks far more like a capybara than Minsc does.

False.

Boo is an unhinged murderous lunatic. Minsc is a big teddy bear who just wants everyone to be friends. And everyone knows capybaras are very chill animals.
