is there a way to auto-resolve combat?
I am playing at Explorer difficulty as I just want to explore the world and talk to folks but these combats keep stopping me. Every combat with multiple enemies I die and I have to reload, its getting annoying.

There might be mods coming that do something like that. The mod community was huge for this game in pre-release, so if that continues, it should be available for most anything.

You could just watch someone play on Youtube? and skip combat scenes

First of all what's your party comp? From my understanding on explore setting enemies have a lower chance to hit, Plus your party gets a +3 to all your stats so if you're failing multiple fights it must come down to the way your characters are equipped or set up, Make sure you're not wearing heavy armor on characters who have no talent for it make sure the weapons your characters are using are suitable for them etc etc.

The game has many information panels to explain this stuff quite simply you just need to take the time to read it to understand what is the issue you're having.

It's Dungeons & Dragons. It has dice rolls. Get over it or play something else.

No, silly. I want to make choices and talk with every npcs. But the combat sucks, wish there was a skip combat mod

As I said, you can just install a trainer and one shot everyone. It tooks hardly 1 minutes to kill every enemy. Not much difference with skip the combat

Don't use Shadowheart until a few more levels in. Rely on potions at the start, she can be good but she really sucks at the beginning levels. Her heals and damage are junk early on, everyone levels together so no worry if leave her out.

There is a way . It’s called watching others play it on twitch or YouTube .

That is ridiculous answer to a legitimate problem.
