You can't even join the game without creating a character yourself. Which is what we're trying to avoid. Hence the issue.
OR you know, how dare you expect something to be fixed/patched when it's clearly not working as intended immediately?
Yall think this is just a few lines of code left right and then blam all fixed. They have a massive game, any changes to the party system might cause major ♥♥♥♥ ups and breaks. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ be patient and chill. You can have a game with your friend that you can boot when you play with your friends, and you can have your SP experience when you don't.
Exactly this. The level of entitlement and rage in the gamer community is ridiculous. I'm nearing my 40's and been playing heavy since the early 90's. It's mind-boggling how much more complex modern games can be than the stuff we played back then. It takes a lot of very talented people with a myriad of different skillsets to produce any big game let alone one that is as good as BG3. That said, the vocal minority is what we hear/see and the motivation to post about things online is usually driven heavily my what people are upset about rather than what they are happy about. If a game is just excellent you might leave a review and that's it. Most people aren't going to go in and make a list of the 20,000 things they love. But when someone is real upset about something they will go online and cry about it till the cows come home. The more constructive way or resolving issues is leaving feedback through official channels to the developers themselves because that is a big part of what they look at when they work on patching things. And of all the devs out there, Larian is one of the best at being receptive to feedback and actually making changes. I mean, just look at BG3 EA - they changed and implemented so, so much based off of all the feedback they got in EA. But alas, everyone is never going to be happy. No matter how pristine a game is there will always be some people who are particularly triggered by something and they are most likely going to be the most vocal. BG3 is so good though that the praise completely overshadows the criticism.
