Orange bordered items

What do they denote? I at first figured it meant it was a unique item but I've run across plenty of other items that are unique without an orange border. Does it mean they have a specific use at some point?

Im not sure but guessing quest items, like they dont have "add to wares" option when rightclick either?

i think quest related items, like if you're stuck in a quest you could read one of those books for more info

I originally thought they were all quest items like, finding a book and it updates your journal, letters, etc. But for example, when visiting Nettie in the druid's grove, after she leaves there's random baubles an the desk next to the Drow, one of the items you pick up was like a brain in a jar or something (I forget off hand and I'm not in game) but it didn't do any journal updates and doesn't have any text that stands out when looking at it. I was just curious, I couldn't find anything on the wiki =)

That was a Mindflayer Tadpole, which was inside of the dead drow before Helsin & Nettie took it out. Im not gonna spoiler but that thing is very important please keep it until you decide what to do with it
