To be clear, reloading won't work. You have to help the druids. If you recruit her and then kill them? She leaves.
Karlach is just a beast and absolutely destroys in melee.
Karlach outperforms Lae'zel in every way and her ambient dialogue is less annoying. She's a must have.
I built Lae'zel using battle master(?), the maneuver fighter archetype. With trip and disarm being the bread and butter. Karlach I've tried the animal aspect archetype(tried with several aspects) and the berserker archetype. She is good, but not as strong as a fighter.
I do love how the "truly good hearted companion" is perfectly fine with eating soul coins so she can hit harder, destroying the souls in question, but will absolutely see you as a monster if you kill somebody which still leaves their soul intact
Well when the "good-heart" in question is made out of demon metal and forged in the blood of dead orphans you kind of have to make some concessions.
