Is there anything more to Andrick and Brynna?
Besides having 2 extra bodies to help fight the owlbear, is there anything more to them?
they basically think im their god, and i like that. but if i tell them to piss off back to their base, will that affect any future events? or should i just kill them now because i'll never see them again? the wiki is extremely sparse on information

well, i played on and can answer my own question. yes, there is more to them. and leaving them alive is a viable option, youll see them later.
i should have guessed really, its Larian, these guys make DnD Deus Ex lol

i dont know how to add a spoiler line, but pretending to be a member of a god's chosen people is a viable strategy lol

I mean that's the extent of it, you see them. However it amounts to nothing.

Yes, you'll see them later if you send them back to base: If you tell them to piss off and go back to base, you will find them in the goblin camp later. That is the base they returned to.

I'm curious to know if there's any way to not kill them at that point :(

I see that I've come here just in time XD. Jokes aside, you can kill them for no reason immediately, get them to be hostile by telling them you came from the ship, SUPPOSITELY kill them at the camp (or the goblins kill them when you killed the bosses, idk, I didn't play like that in any playthrough) and I DO NOT BELIEVE they come back later on, but that's ignorance from my part...

For anybody stumbling on to this later or still unsure:
You can use them to fight the Owlbear. Then, if they survive, you can tell them to go back to looking for survivors or send them to the stronghold (goblin camp). They will turn against you if you decide to fight there.
Edit: Had it backwards but should be fixed

I think it is interesting that they go place themselves off in a corner of the goblin camp once the place becomes hostile. You kind of have to go look for them if you want to kill them.

Seems like Larian was trying to avoid a situation where people who maybe felt sorry for them or felt like they were allies would have to kill them.

It's interesting how many people will just kill goblins without a second thought but might feel more torn about killing these two humans.

so no-shows at moonrise? That seems off, if you left them alive. They should put in a minor showing there or else be dead to shadows in a corner somewhere.

to me ... free chain mail.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
