This is because enemies already have a +2 on every roll they do, which means by increasing their lower average you will effectively make them do more damage to you.
Yeah just turn off Karmic Dice and you'll see that not every single action of enemies connect any longer. They still cheat, but less.
you can have pseudo random - enemies crit 3 times in a row
and you crit 3 times in the row
on or off doesnt matter
change maybe dialgue events - then you got a lot of low numbers of dice
so really dont mention it
play with or without really dont change game mechanic overall
also save scamming is still in action, and you dont have "iron man" option anyway
The fact is that any well made RNG will be streaky, you'll get terrible losing streaks and insane winning streaks. But because human brains are wired incorrectly, people only remember the losing streaks and start viewing them as personal persecution.
I have also been known to save scum at times and if I get a low roll and try to reroll it would always reroll a low one.
Well, actually I explained why Karmic Dice will mathematically make the game harder in Tactician so there is no bias here. On Classic it should make the game more balanced and less random and on Explorer it will make it even easier.
