Escaping the Nautiloid with a downed party?

I decided beating that Zhalk lad was a good idea, which actually was, but both Lae'zel and Shadowheart were down when I managed to reach the helm.

Should I proceed with the adventure to meet them later or are they dead now?

Last time that happened when I proceeded they weren't int he party, for some people it's a good thing, because seeing people not liking either companion. I mean you get others later as the story goes on, so wouldn't be the end of the world.

As long as they don't actually die, you'll be ok. Getting beat up is worth it for the flaming two-handed sword.

If you gave one of them the sword you can loot on the ship, they won't carry it, if I'm not mistaken
