Anyone else encounter a few buggy things involving Lae'zel? and some solutions I found if you do encounter these things.

So I've had a few weird things happen with Lae'zel in the party and I wanted to know if it was a me thing or more people have experienced something like it (not sure if I should report it or not, haven't encountered everything multiple times yet.) This does have spoilers for some encounters of the first act, fairly minor though, but don't read if you don't want to.

First weird thing that happened: After I fought some gnolls in the risen road area. Suddenly she was treated like she was the main person to talk to in every dialogue I started even if she was not selected. It first appeared after some people thanked me for defeating the gnolls immediately after the fight. I have the option selected that my avatar character will always be the one selected for dialogue after a fight. I thought weird that she was the one leading the dialogue, and after that tried talking to other people with my avatar and low and behold she was the one speaking every time.

How I solved it: I went back to camp, left her there and put her into my party again later. Problem solved.

Second weird thing that happened: So there is this encounter in the first act with a bunch of githyanki, so I brought Lae'zel with me. This started an encounter in which she could be the main person talking if you let her. I let her. I was level 4 at this point and this encounter eventually let to a fight which I at level 4 of course lost. So I let the encounter be for a while since I clearly wasn't ready for it yet. Some more xp later I try again, once more with Lae'zel in my party. I expect the same Lae'zel specific scene, but it doesn't come. Another scene happens and I eventually solve the situation. But then suddenly a scene triggers of Lae'zel detecting my thoughts and seeing what happened in the ecounter. She then proclaims that I should have brought her with me so the situation would have gone differently/easier. She was literally next to me the whole time lol.... I figure that scene is normally triggered when you return to camp after having that encounter without Lae'zel in your party, so strange that I got it while she was. Not really gamebreaking, but broke my immersion a little. Nothing really to be solved here, I just decided to head cannon the scene out of my playthrough and move on.

Third weird thing that happened: So I'm in auntie Ethel's house, I want to check everyone's inventory for an item that I should have. I click on Lae'zel. The inventory doesn't appear for her (but does for the others) As her I stay in third person view and can still walk around, but the buttons from the cinematic dialogue are there instead of my usual options in third person view. This also happens if I just click on her portrait, not just want to check her inventory.

Just before I encountered this the screen blacked out once, when I first tried to talk to an elf in the room I was in. (After which I could talk to the elf) May have had something to do with this? idk, I'm really bad with technology and it stuff so idk. The black screen has popped up once before when I tried to pet an animal, but it didn't really do anything then, so not sure.

How I solved it: You can switch back to the others by using change character. In this case it brought me back to the inventory of the character I changed to. If I just clicked on Lae'zel to change to her then it doesn't bring up the other character's inventory screen, but you just switch to them. After that I reloaded to a safe where this hadn't happend yet and decided maybe to leave Lae'zel at the camp when I go to auntie ethel next time.

I've already verified the game files, not sure if it'll prevent more Lae'zel related surprises in the future, but we'll see. Truly loving the game so far though of course. A little bugs here and there won't ruin that for me.

If you Have Lae´zal in fight the UI/action bar can dissappear. F5, f8 solves that…
So she has some negative effect to computers… Maybe because she is from another dimension ;)

I've heard about them but never had the issues....I don't like her, she said the wrong thing to me once and now I just cut her down everytime, seriously don't like her.

I'm having a different bug with her in that I can't get her into my party at all, she keeps accepting to join but doesn't actually join as her portrait doesn't appear, she then left the camp shortly after and found her roaming the mountains, tried to recruit her again and she accepts only for her portrait to still not be there.

Yeah, the combat UI disappears, usually the fix is to move all your characters out of the combat zone and save and reload the game, it's a rather frustrating bug..

Same. Inventory, combat, dialog all break with her randomly. I just save and reload into the exact point I'm in and it fixes it temporarily for me.

allweys check before battle if her ui is bugged --> talk to her with another character to fix it, so you dont get frustrated save loading middle of battle couse of the strainge bug

I had her bug out after a certain fight. After the fight with the gith inquisitor she suddenly turned hostile towards me while I was checking a container for loot. Even the journal entry changed from what had happened prior to that.
