Colorblind mode could be something super simple, just put an 'O' into pink/available and an 'X' in grey/spent.
This is definitely something that needs adding, or some form of UI customisation in that regard that lets you change the colour of the squares to something you can see and differentiate between.
Since I am only mildly affected, I can distinguish between spent and unspent when I lean very close to the screen, but as suggested earlier here, a simple symbol difference or anything at all other than a very slight color difference would be greatly appreciated.
Although I rarely need/elect to use it, I am surprised that the game does not have a built-in colorblind filter since it has become quite common these days and there is an "accessibility" tab in the options. But aside from the spell slots I have not encountered any other problematic colors yet.
I hear ya, and maybe if I could make the UI a bit bigger the glow would be more noticeable, but I genuinely cannot tell between them. It comes down to, "Oh, I can't cast level one spells anymore, guess I'm out."
Worse than this?
