I am at level 7 at the same point. I can get Thorm down more or less quickly (loosing lots of hitpoints). But after he is gone there is no way for me to kill Karniss and all those remaining other enemies lurking around...
I even have Nightsong with me... but she is completely useless. And after Thorm leaves, she is also gone...
AOE will still hit through sanctuary. You just cannot make DIRECT attacks.
Sanctuary is a spell that can be countered and silenced. I believe it is also concentration which can be broken.
So firebomb that boy.
Have been luckier today. This time Nightsong was attacking Thorm, so these two had their own fight. Which gave me enough time, to handle the rest :)
Yesterday Nightsong was dealing with the smaller enemies only, which was not a big help for me. Seems to be a good approach, to hide behind tower walls as good as possible. I could bring Karniss down with an ice-spell and the power of Karlach and Laezel.
You can kill Karniss in the forest, you can meet him while hes making his way to the Moonrise.
You can even get some Harpers to help you ambush him.
Right, but this is a little late, when you are meeting Thorm and notice… „Should have killed Karniss earlier“ ;)
