How to get to Baldurs Gate

how can I travel zu Baldurs Gate?

1. Open Steam
2. Search "baldur's gate"
3. Press buy
4. Press install
5. Press launch

progress through moonrise tower and eventually you'll get a map marker for the path to baldurs gate.

Well the problem is, that if I progress through moonrise tower, I will find myself in the final battle with Ketheric Thorne....I found the army from him on the street to Baldurs Gate...another dead end...

So, is there a way to get to Baldurs Gate without fighting Ketheric Thorm?

It's right next to the city of Baldur's Ghey, you can't miss it.

Please! Where is that road? The only road I found was from Moonrise Tower and there was a huge army.

I'm having the same issue where an army is blocking my way. If I try to go anyway, I get dropped into prison which I can't get out of unless I fast-travel. Going back to the road to the city does the same thing. A loop, Going forward leads to me infiltrating moonrise and the last 2 times I tried that, it was basically endgame after the boss fight. I'm stuck because I don't know how to get to the city. Maybe I did things in the wrong order or went too far but I don't know how to get around/past the army at the road

I'm confused as to why you're trying to avoid Ketheric?

His problem is the same as mine. If I fight him, it goes to end game. And then a certain wizard does a thing and boom, it's over. So, after we fight him the first time, he shoots down a hole. If I pursue him, end game.

Plus, Thorm talked to me when I first caught up to him as if we'd already had a great many interactions (from the city, no doubt - which I can't get into). He said I worked for him when I'd never had the chance to meet him
