Can I respec my companions?
Is there way to respec story companions? That way I could start e.g. Gale as more of a melee star and later spec into a truly specialized caster.

In case you still don't know, talk to the skeleton/zombie/futuretellingoldguy in camp WITH THE COMPANION YOU WANT TO RESPEC. It took me a minute to figure out that you can control party members in camp too.

You're not the forum police dude, if someone wants to ask a question then its their right. If anything it makes the pool of answers for the question larger for the next person that searches the topic. Let this be a learning experience for you.

I assume you mean you can respec them but only WITHIN their class. Fighter Gale would be funny but yeah, I guess he keeps his class on respec :D

As far as I can tell, you can change the class of any of the origin characters. You can have Monk Shadowheart. You can't change their race or subrace.

Switch to another party member and go see Withers, and ask for a class respec. Take a look around.
