Druid Vault Bugged

I rescued Halsin and received the Wolf Rune reward, but when I go to the vault room, the stairs don't appear. I've properly combined the Wolf Rune into the pedestal, and then lit all 4 runes around the statue. The stairs don't appear, and the runes all turn off again after a few seconds. I've looked everywhere online and through Google, I know I'm not the only one having the issue, but I can't find a fix. I've restarted the game and tried again, that didn't work. So does anybody know a fix, or is this just bugged until Larian patches it?

I thought this happened to me as well... Once the stone runes go dark, try pressing them again. I started with the wolf and went clockwise they all lit up and the stairs appeared.

Great... so Neither Larian, nor Steam has any feedback on this issue. Kind of a show-stopper for some PC build intentions. Did all that work for nothing. I get all four pedestals to light up and nothing happens, they just fade. All the vids show it working.

I was able to get it to work by dragging wolf rune from inventory into the available spot in the combine pop-up. Changed to turn based. Have each player on that turn press one of the rune thingys so that all get pressed. The statue in the middle descends but the stairs didn't show up fully until I exited turn based.

Did you

1. Do the correct order? (go by the statues that lead into that area) you only have to do three, not all four if I recall correctly

2. As one said, doing it turn based does help, as it allows for better timing

Maybe something has bugged in recent iterations but I've placed the runes and descended into the vault half a dozen times without issue. You have to place the runes in the proper sequence (I think it has to do with the outer rooms and the animal totems showing there though never quite fully figured it out). You can try the rune placement as many times as you like until you get it. The lights 'going out' on the pedestals is not a bug AFAIK.

Try restarting. Honestly though you get nothing out of it anyway so dont feel bad if you miss it.
