This gives you the ability to learn any spell you want from scrolls.
Both classes are full casters so your spell slot progression won't fall behind either.
2) you get a wizard subclass, evocation's sculpt spells nuke your frontliners with impunity - the enemies will usually cluster around them anyway.
4) This way you dont delay your feat/ASI progression - though once you hit level 10, I'd respec back to 8/2 if there is a level perk in clerick you want
