Incandescent Staff
Bought this staff in Act 2.

What I'm interested in is:
Ranged Spell Attack +1

Can someone please explain: what does it do?

Form my tests it:
- doesn't boost your spell DMG
- doesn't increase your DC

Some spells have an Attack Roll requirement, like the firebolt cantrip. I think it would buff that roll to hit.

When you are throwing a firebolt or scorching ray, or any other spell that uses spell attack at range, it will make it easier to hit people.

I can't see any of these effects when I test scorching ray on my teammates :(

This OP statement checks with me as well. Melf’s First Staff properly applies the attack roll bonus; the Incandescent Staff does not.

The latter will sit in my awaiting patch scratch satchel.
