Owlbear cub not at goblin camp

How long does it take for the cub to show up at the goblin camp?
And can it still show up there if I visited the camp already or do I need to reload a previous save?

I committed mass gobbocide at the camp before the Owlbear encounter and the cub showed up later and now in my camp with the doggo

You capture it as a Ranger or something ? I tried talking to it while I was a spider but no luck.

You dont need to kill the mother at all, just walk away after talking to her, I went in peaceful in the goblin camp, killed the 3 leaders though I had to kill everyone. I made it to the pens and I freed it. DO NOT KILL THE MOTHER. the cub is at the gobo camp regardless. At least that happened with me. Also animal handling helps a lot too.

One of the reply above suggested that we negotiated peace with the mother but killed her afterward caused the bug.
And one of the reply from the support team admitted that it's a bug to be fixed.

It's still eating its dead mother for me, so just wondering how long it takes for the goblins to finally capture it. It's been a whole lot of hours in my campaign and it's still just there.

if you already killed the mother, the event is bypassed.

you need the mother to be angry for them to kidnap it.

Cub now showing up at the goblin camp is a bug and it'll be (allegedly) fixed in an upcoming patch soon.

Thanks, luckily I haven't gone far from the chicken chasing.
I will load back and do something else till the next patch or find more confirmation that the cub will show up by different event.

I hope this happens for me because I saw there was an owl bear in a cave and went "I'm not leveled enough for this encounter yet". I cleared the entire goblin camp and town before remembering about the owl bear. Had I known I could get a cubpanion, I would've done it differently.

I have the same issue! I also persuaded the mom to be friendly and then after attacked it. The cub is still eating the mom at the cave. After many long rests, I still see a chicken at the goblin camp. Is this supposed to be fixed with the latest patch? If not, when will this get fixed?

I got this same bug… owlbear still on the cave with the dead mother not respawning in the goblin camp.

Apparently, it's still not fixed, hopefully it will be in patch 5 😅

Can someone else confirm? goblin camp is the last thing left for me to do in Act 1 so kinda just waiting for the bug to be fixed

So I couldn't talk to the owlbear cub after killing the mother since I knocked it out, did I miss out on the cub entirely now? I did the cub really early on so would hate having to reset again
