random loot or static?

im new to DnD or BG series. Are the loots random or static? so if i replay the story again, i will encounter different loot or same?

Both. Some stuff is static, some is random.

Loot is essentially fixed. You wont get any sudden good stuff. You may find a potion etc and thats it.

All the interesting stuff is static. You'll always find the same legendary/very rare items in the same containers and encounters
