Quest bug or I missing something? The Githyanki Warrior

Ive killed the Inquisitor and the journal is telling me to return to his room to find out more about the artifact. In there nothing is happening though and Ive opened/examined/read everything i could find. The object on the floor I get a message that I should leave this alone for now. Interestingly my minimap is framed a pulsing red in this area-I thought that meant i was in combat but im not. Is my quest bugged and if not I give up-Can someone tell me what to do to advance this quest please!!

I've had a response from the Devs-It's a known bug to be addressed in a future patch:)

2 september now and still not doesnt work. I ended up there yesterday and same problem...

to place the shard after the fight, open the inventory of the toon carrying it. You will note it will overlap the screen where you place the shard. Move cursor to very top edge of inventory screen of that toon and hold left mouse button and drag the inventory screen to the left to reveal the screen below it where you place the gem. Now drag and drop the shard into the slot to open the gate. This drove me nuts for hours and I killed everything in the creche thinking that it was about me being in combat since the room lit red every time I reentered it. Hope this helps those with this issue.
