Didn't know people could "convert" to homosexuality. Probably because such a thing can't happen.

If people COULD change their sexuality on a whim though, then the game would ascend beyond being based. As it stands, it can only, merely be unfathomably based.

I hate it when it's SHOVED into everything just for "repruzentayshun" as if we all NEED to see it in our faces every day or we will hate being alive and end our existence or something. We aren't all emotional toddlers.

I haven't encountered any relationships that are non-hetero, yet. I'm still in the first open zone though. (I'm going to 100% that area before choosing what to do next.)

One NPC "came on" to my character. It would be hetero if I let my character indulge. I have instigated no romances (and don't intend to do so). That one NPC's personality and culture made sense for the attraction and forwardness with the sexual proposition. I had my character decline, and unlike EA, there wasn't really any animosity for doing so.

So... are you 100% certain that you're not accidentally instigating things? So far, I had my character be as nice as I want, and nobody else propositioned my character.

I mean, OP is clearly just kind of trolling, but there's some truth to it. My plan was to possibly romance Shadowheart and befriend Gale. Something the game makes a little difficult because it sure turned a "I'm trying to be friendly with a companion" situation into a "the moment feels intimate" situation which is not at all how I was wanting that scene to play out.

I'd kill for a cool male/male friendship in this game similar to the main character and Alistair in Dragon Age, but Baldur's Gate has made it a little difficult to find as EVERY male character I have recruited so far has attempted to spread his booty hole for me when I'm just trying to be their friend. Meanwhile Lae'Zel is acting more like a man than the other men I've met so far and Shadowheart... well she's aloof so I guess that's okay.

Maybe OP's right maybe Baldurs kinda gay.
