Unrecoverable Directx error all of a sudden...

My game has been fine. Until today. Now its crashes so fequently every few mins...with this error...what happend?

I had this issue too. ACT 1 was stable, then in ACT 2 the game started to crash, and after few hours I couldn't even launch the game.

What you have to do is to reinstall drivers using DDU (diplay driver unistaller), and then install the drivers again from official website of course.

I know it might sound simple, like "ye bro reboot your PC it's gonna fix it", but when you encounter DirectX problems, the only way to fix it is to clean your graphics drivers.

DDU also removes DirectX libraries, which some games create to make the game more stable or whatever. But sometimes they can break and you have to clean it and reinstall.

Edit: It can also be a game cache problem, which YOU CAN delete C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\LevelCache here. But YOU HAVE to do it if you reinstall drivers. I believe it can be done through verifying files via steam too.
