Has anyone won the jackpot? I've been trying to farm it out by save scumming but i'm getting nowhere on it

Yes, you need to steal his magic ring. Just pickpocket him

You steal his ring, the jackpot is very worth it btw.

Nope without the Ring you cannot win the jackpot. I have rolled that wheel now 42 times, with quicksave.

Spun the wheel 10 times each time, some of the items are ok, but not worth 10k ok.

Well you need to do it before you talk to him for the first time because that's when you are about to win jackpot (guess it's scripted for the first time to show you that he is cheating) and he use that ring to stop the wheel or if you stole it you'll hit the jackpot.

You can also just buy the ring, click the "trade" option. Much less risky, if you're doing minimal save scumming, and prefer the path of danger over cheese, despite the game's warnings.

When you have a character with high perception, you'll find out he's cheating. Confronting him and not backing down had a pretty fun result. I used Astarion and he got turned into a wheel of cheese which I then happily rolled around the area

U could always just initiate to trade mid dialogue and just buy it off him, idk if it’ll be patched tho

Not the easiest route, but I went with;

1.Use a high perception character to notice the cheating when you spin.
2. Do it again with a bard to distract.
3 sneak through the forest and leap onto the platform with the chest and portal. Lockpick the chest, get the item, port back. No jackpot, but that item IS the jackpot I think.


Three's probably a simpler solution.
