because, if you do go in the mountain, there stuff that will happen because there a time skip
Is this the same if you traverse to the underdark--like you get a warning before proceeding? I got to the underdark in EA but never actually found the path to moonrise.

Thanks for clearing it up. I guess Underdark first then. Kinda weird to put Lae'zel's creche quest on Act 2 and "the path to Moonrise via Underdark" as act 1. I mean, it gave me the assumption that they're two separate paths I can take. People might assume that going Underdark is the same as transitioning to another act via mountain pass.
