Why everyone wants to ♥♥♥♥ me now??? I talked to everyone as i always do and this happened:
-Wyll talks about spikes in his no-no parts and my answers either are mean or something that may lead him to show him such spikes.

-You either are rude to gale or offer you to replace mystra. No bro options. I chose the "neutral" line and his approval spiked.

-Karlach is a sweetheart and i chose the romance option. Turned out to be straight out sex (according to another conversation dialog) and i wanted to connect with her feelings first.

-Astarion nearly seals his destiny (death).

-Halsin barely knows me but sex is already possible.

-Shadowheart was more forgiving. She knew i chose karlach and there was a dialog that lead to her offering liquid courage. Friend.

-Lae'zel shifted from nearly hating me to being dripping wet for me. She didnt care about feelings.

There should be dialog options for all outcomes i guess. I mean being friendly, rude, accepting their advances or reject them respectfully.

You honestly think any game studio out there take the time to flesh out dialogue outcomes based on myriad options? They barely flesh out one or two nowadays.

Already did lol. Those expanded romance mods for BG2 were awesome.

Yeah I like these characters a lot but the romantic stuff so far has played out rather awkwardly. Feels artificial and heavy-handed. Almost like the Saints Row 4 "romances" except played straight.

EDIT: Also, the next day at camp I got a dialogue option with Halsin, apologizing for "coming on too strong" when I am *quite* certain no dialogue option I picked in that conversation had *any* romantic tone whatsoever. No idea where that one came from.

Gale's options during the party are actually nuanced. You can choose his 'moment' and during the scenes that play out, you can choose a 'just friends' option for instance. There's not a lot of clarity about that initially but I think that's intentional, to make you jump in and test the waters with each (quicksave is your friend - always). Obviously, none of them are going to be super happy about being rejected but as Shadowheart displays, some of them are more level-headed than others.

It's hard for me to say the romances could use a bit more depth maybe? From reading up on other experiences, it seems like things happen very different per play-through, but I'm always for more depth.

For will you need to show that you care he skipped out at the party and then offer some sympathy about what he's going through. Then he will offer you dialogue that opens his romance track.
