Why is Larian overloading this game with so much homosexuality? Sure it's nice to have the option but even as a gay guy the overwhelming gay sex flying at me from all directions is a bit much! Is there no such thing as platonic male friendships anymore? I have plenty of straight friends in real life who I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH! Clearly an unknown concept to Larian! But seriously, do you not realize the majority of the world and hence your consumer base is straight? What the hell is with this trend in gaming? I feel bad for the straight guys out there and I am really sorry y'all have to deal with this current era's ESG bullcrap. Stop with the oversexualized gay representation and stop with straight erasure!!!

they made all the romance options available regardless of the sex or gender of the player character, that's just their way of ensuring nobody gets upset about being left out of a romance option just because of their character choice

seriously, all these posts crying about specifically same sex relationships are doing nothing but undermine the overall issue that the game skips straight from "we've hung out for a few days" to everybody (men and women both) suddenly fixating on you

They made all NPC react the same way regardless of the choices the player made during character creation, its a simple as that.

As a lesbian I love the flirting from the female companions at least. I always hated how I had to be the one to always initiate flirting with npc's in other similar games. For once it feels nice to be the one they chase.

i think people would be less upset by this stuff if there wasn't a whole trailer marketing how sophisticated and in depth their romancing was in the game and then you get to it and you see it just takes the form of every character wanting to get into your pants as soon and often as possible.

I don't know, I'm somehow more obsessed with seducing female characters. Astarion tried to approach me but was quickly sent away. Of course, I’m only going through the first act so far, but so far I haven’t been particularly bothered by the modern agenda.
