Really wish there was a way to respec illithid powers

So I decided to go for some useful illithid powers for my first playthrough.

Some of them I have really been getting good use out of, like enemies taking extra damage when I kill something or when I cause fall damage (which is awesome for a warlock using repelling blast).

But one power I regret getting is the one that says enemies that attack you have a chance to get charmed if you use your reaction.

It almost never procs and since I don't want to waste my reaction on something that is rarely used I keep skipping it when I get attacked and enemies miss, but the issue is I can't seem to tell the game to not prompt me for that action or turn it off in any way.

And I can't respec my illithid powers like I can my level apparently, so now I'm stuck with it for the rest of the game?

It's hard to get those worms out of the brain once you jam them in.

Turns out that since it's a reaction you can go to the reaction menu and turn it off completely so that you are never asked to use it.

Which is actually the best option because there is another ability that says when you get an enemy to less hit points than illithid powers you have unlocked they instantly die.

You can still get the power for the extra 1 hp of instant death it provides and then just turn it off so that you never have to deal with it.

plus theres enough in the game to unlock every single one of them, exspecially if you dont want to turn into a full illithid
