Solo Dark Urge Tactician Mode
Anyone trying this? It's hard, insanely hard.

I am still stuck on the undead in the Dank Crypt. I am almost wondering if I should leave, rescue the Grove (to level up to lvl 3) and then return to the Crypt.

My Dark Urge: Forest Gnome Fighter, currently level 2.

I plan on getting at least to lvl 3 for Champion, then I may switch to Sorcerer so I can get some ranged cold/lightning spells. The idea is to stack increased threat range from Champ and Spell Sniper along with the Wet condition that dbls cold/lightning damage, along with any other items in the game that boost Cold/Ligjtning dmg (like Watersparkers).

I started as a Fighter for the armor, so just getting to my first Sorc level is proving to be a pain. I almost wonder if my 2nd level should have been Sorc instead for the ranged spells?

Anyway, anyone else going for solo Dark Urge on Tactician? What's your build and strategy?

Definitely do peaceful quests first. You can get L3 fairly easily I would think. Maybe even try to get L4 before any major encounters at all.

Sounds like a nice challenge. I might try that too later.

Are you talking to any companions? Their quests might be simple and give XP early too.

I've done everything possible before the Grove, except for clearing the undead at the crypt.

I killed Shadowheart, Astarion, and Lae'zel.

Fun fact: you can only bite Gale's hand off if you're a Dragonborn. As a Gnome, I only had the option of slapping his hand away.

This is rubbish, you can cut it off as any Dark Urge Character.
"My Dark Urge: Forest Gnome Fighter"

I don't know but this is really amusing to me, haha! I wouldn't take it seriously which would ultimately lead into a false sense of security and then my demise. Maybe that's why it's so amusing lmao

If I did try to solo Tactician I'd definitely go Rogue. It's easily the most viable solo class and the lone Assassin vibe for Dark Urge is perfect.

Barbarian works so fsr as solo Durge tactician.

You can savescum as wild magic.
Go bear to become a mini boss fight.
Or use berserker and some speed potions till you get an extra attack or tavern brawler.
