I am getting divorced because of Baldurs Gate 3

My wife caught me in the middle of the night pulling rope to a tiefling NPC. We fought for a day, but mostly she was just depressed and couldn't imagine me having an attraction to a red woman with horns.

She was able to put it mostly behind her, but she called up all her friends and relatives and was on the phone seeking advice on what to do about the situation. I tried to explain to her that it was just a kind of fantasy and that I found her more attractive than any video game character, but the next time we made love she noticed that my eyes were closed most of the time, and she accused me of imagining the tiefling. And in truth, I was. I was imagining gripping the tiefling by her horns and pounding away.

Tonight, I was in camp and initiated a love scene with Lae'zel, the Githyanki green woman. The game was pumping through my speakers and my wife could hear the narrator describing the love making. She came storming into the room faster than I could react. I tried to alt tab but i kept hitting the wrong keys on accident and wasnt fast enough.

She saw the green face and the pointy ears and the pointy teeth, and now she thinks I'm possessed by Satan and sexually attracted to mystical creatures and devil women with horns and pointy teeth. She locked herself in our bedroom, and I could hear her crying and moving things all around. Hours later she opened the door and stormed out of the house with two suitcases and told me she's filing for a divorce. She won't answer my calls.

I really wish I never played this game.

Sexual activities behind the back of your loved ones is cheating and finding excuses for it is called lying. People tend to justify misbehaviour of all kinds. Nonetheless every lack of self-control leads to consequences one way or the other.

If this is true: Good job blaming the game. Another broken family that will make its way to therapists and if childs were in your house, the divorce will be the least thing to worry about.

Not at all. I would absolutely cut myself off from certain games once I entered a relationship. I simply am of the mind that those interests should be on my partner and not on a game.

The story is fake. Masturbation isn't cheating. People that think it is are controlling and codependent. IF the story were true his wife would be the one with issues and a judge would laugh it out of court. She wouldn't last through one therapy session before the doctor told her she was being controlling. The story is fake however.
